Dreaming of More... A Home for Concepts & Ideas
My core aim for this website was to act as an in-theme resource for the Dungeon Saga world, it's various inhabitants and the collection of items and spells as set out by the official Mantic rules aswell as providing a home for the custom ideas that I feel would make interesting and worthwhile additions.
Keeping it constantly in-theme, yet not to re-produce exactly what Mantic are selling in their core books whilst also provide enough content that it is read-worthy is proving pretty time-consuming when mixed in with my everyday real-world commitments.
Additionally, new ideas and custom creations is where my real mental drive is, but for any of it to be worth posting in-theme really requires that it's a well-considered idea, that it has a good portion of rules fleshed out and then the in-theme fluff-text written around it.
It's not, unfortunately, an ideal medium to be posting up initial ideas and thoughts that are only at concept stage, that may or may not work when put through some testing.
So in an effort to keep me engaged with this as a resource and posting up content more regularly, I'm starting this "non-theme" section of the website to provide a home for the myriad of ideas that I have swimming either in my head or on the various notepads and paper I have lying around here.
This will vary from initial bursts of imagination to more rounded ideas that have had the weight of thought and testing behind them, and ultimately to make their way into the in-theme chapters of the Delver's Tome proper.
Lets see how this pans out...
